Job function
SCALINX is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Operations Engineer. The candidate will oversee the productization and production across SCALINX. The candidate will be in charge of developing and maintaining the productization/qualification processes. The candidate will implement lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement.
Work description
- Develop test strategies and test plans to ensure high coverage while meeting stringent test time and defect-per-million requirements
- Select vendors to support productization including ATE (test program, load boards) and reliability qualification (HTOL, HAST, ESD/LU, package qual, burn in boards, etc.)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations
- Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of materials. Key technical contact for supply-chain partners selection
- Monitor and analyze production data to identify areas for improvement (yield, defect rates, test time reduction, etc.)
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance
- Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements
- Perform production planning, volume and supplier coordination in relation to the business forecast
- Responsible for RMA management
- Write qualification, productization and RMA reports
- Raise employee quality awareness
- Ensure product quality and reliability and compliance with the procedures
- Guarantee ISO compliance
- QMS documentation
- Internal and supplier audits
Qualification and Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in semiconductor Operations Engineering
- Experience in managing the productization/qualification processes
- Knowledge of the semiconductor field
- Fluent English
- Good communication skills
- Rigorous engineering approach
- Excellent team spirit
