Signal Conversion Chip Startup Targeting 5G and Radar Raises €10.5m

Scalinx, a fabless semiconductor company developing advanced signal conversion chips, has raised €10.5 million as it aims to target the 5G communications infrastructure and radar markets.

The Paris-based startup was founded in 2015 by Hussein Fakhoury as a spinout from Telecom ParisTech, where he was working on high-speed CMOS data converters for wireless products. The focus for Scalinx is the design and supply signal conversion products based on its proprietary wideband sigma delta analog-to-digital converter (ADC) technology.
